Perhaps you sent a lovely card,
Or sat quietly in a chair,
Perhaps you sent a funeral spray,
If so we saw it there.

Perhaps you spoke the kindest words,
As any friend could say;
Perhaps you were not there at all,
Just thought of us that day,
Whatever you did to console our hearts,
We thank you so much whatever the part.

Marching Home

Well, Loved ones it is my time

To get in the lord's marching line,

He called me home to play his tunes,

For when his children all come home soon,

So don't you cry or be blue,

I must do what my lord tells me to ,

Now go on loved ones with your lives,

Don't worry about me because the Lord's at my side,

Well! Now I'm at peace without  pain or fear,

Oh! My loved ones it's soo beautiful up here,

Dont fret loved ones on this land,

Think of me in the lord's marching band,

I 'm marching home.
