20th - 23rd. Annual Spiceisle Bill Fish Tournament( Grenada Yacht Club) 

30th Jan. 3rd Feb, Grenada Sailing Festival( Grand Anse beach 5 days)

FEBRUARY

7th -  Independence Day  - 35yrs. One of the highlights of this public holiday is a military parade at the National Stadium . Beach parties are also prominent on the island.

23rd to 24th - Carriacou Carnival, Celebrations involving two days of street parades and Various competitions among calypsonians and masquerade bands.

19th -22nd - Grenada Classic Yacth Regatta

 

MARCH

17th - St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations, Celebrations take place in Sauteurs. Exhibits include local arts and crafts, agricultural produce and food.

APRIL

10th - Good Friday – public Holiday

13th - Easter Monday – public Holiday

13th -15th Annual  Round the Island Regatta

 

MAY

1st - Labour Day – Public Holiday

       Grenada Drum Festival, In 2008 the Grenada Drum Festival will transform Krumahville in the village of Tivoli into a cultural village featuring traditional drumming and dancing

 

JUNE

1st  - Whit Monday – Public Holiday

11th - Corpus Christi – Public Holiday

24th -29th -  Fisherman Birthday Celebrations

Gouyave in the Parish of St. John’s is the most popular town for this celebration. Church services and the blessing of boats and nets followed by boat races and late afternoon street festivals and fireworks.

JULY

30th – 2nd August - Carriacou Regatta

Carriacou Regatta focuses mainly on the locally built ‘workboats’ with some ten different classes of boats. Other highlights of the festival are Yatch racing, Miss Aquaval Queen Show, Donkey race, Greasy Pole, Football, Netball competition and more.

AUGUST

2nd – 4th - Rainbow City Festival

The town of Grenville in the parish of St. Andrew’s is the location for this lively celebration. Local arts, crafts, food, music and tours of scenic sites in the parish combine to make this a festival not to be missed.

1st - Emancipation Day

1st – 11th - Grenada  Carnival

Carnival attracts visitors from around the world. It two days of non-stop partying and jump up, including bands and costume competition, Monday Nite Mass, J’Ouvert and the parade of the bands.

12th - 16th, St. John Reunion, Gouyave, Person of the parish of St. John, come together for its 1st reunion

OCTOBER

8th - Grenada Cricket Classic

25th – Thanksgiving 1983,  USA military  intervention in Grenada is celebrated with church services and beach parties.

DECEMBER

24th - Christmas Eve, Communities celebrate the birth of Christ with evening church services.

25th - Christmas Day

26th - Boxing Day – Public Holiday

31st - New Year Eve, New Year’s Eve is celebrated with church services and gala parties to ring in the  New Year.
