About Quake USA Cultural Organization

Quake USA Cultural Organization is a registered non-profit based in Brooklyn, New York.  The organization is the embodiment of a dream started years ago by Spice Island Youthquake (SIY) in the Caribbean island of Grenada.  Out of nostalgia and togetherness, members of SIY who migrated to the USA, formed Quake USA.  Since its inception, Quake USA Cultural Organization has grown not only in numbers but also in diversity.  Today, the organization comprises a diverse mix of singers, musicians, dancers, poets, actors, writers and choreographers of varied nationalities.

The group’s mission is to spread Caribbean love and culture through music, song, dance and drama, and to assist in developing the communities in which it operates and from where its members originate.  To this end, the group has hosted and participated in many fundraising efforts for causes and institutions in both the USA and Grenada.  One of Quake USA’s primary beneficiary is the Grenada Community Development Agency (GRENCODA) which provides school supplies to children in need. With your continued support, Quake USA will keep Caribbean culture alive and at the same time, contribute to community needs.
